Heating & Cooling Service in Collettsville, NC
Mountain hollow climate — higher elevation, earlier winters, we make the drive.
Collettsville is a rural mountain community in Caldwell County, nestled along the Wilson Creek corridor in the foothills of the Blue Ridge. The families who live here are loyal customers who appreciate having a reliable local HVAC company that serves mountain communities. The elevation is higher here than in the valley, and winter weather arrives earlier and stays later.

HVAC Service Built for Collettsville
Collettsville homes face some of the toughest HVAC conditions in our service area. Higher elevation means colder winters, and the mountain terrain creates microclimates where one side of a ridge can be 5-10 degrees colder than the other. Many homes here are older, with less insulation than modern code requires, and some still use wood stoves as primary or supplemental heat. If you are looking to transition from wood heat to a modern system, or add air conditioning to a home that has never had it, we can design a solution that works for Collettsville's unique conditions without over-engineering or overspending.

Why Collettsville Homeowners Choose Starnes
The big companies will not drive to Collettsville, and if they do, they will charge you for the trip. We have been making that drive since 1998 because this community is part of our service area, not an afterthought. We know the roads, we understand the mountain climate, and we price our work the same here as we do in Granite Falls.

262+ verified reviews across Google, Ruud, and Facebook“Starnes Heating & Air replaced both of my units in 2022. When the upstairs unit stopped working on a weekend, they sent a technician promptly. Isaac found a clogged condensation line, cleaned it out, and checked the other unit to make sure its line was clear too. Outstanding customer service from the office call to the service call!”
